Why "Isidore"?

Saint Isidore of Seville is the Patron Saint of the Internet, Computers, and Computer Users.

Wait - seriously?

Yep: the Catholic Church decreed it so in 1999. In the early 600s, St. Isidore attempted to create the first ever record of all human knowledge up to that point – kind of like the Internet. We think that’s neat. And we hope he will smile upon us. (And think about including Computer Recyclers under his patronage too…)
